Dr Lo has completed her Diploma in Child Health and Family planning. When not working she is busy looking after the garden and her chooks at home with her family.

Dr Hath is UK born, raised and trained with extensive experience in all aspects of General Practice including work-cover and pre-employment medicals. He has specialist diplomas in Minor Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. His special interests encompass all chronic diseases including Ischaemic Heart Disease, Diabetes, Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and Children’s Health, in addition to Minor Surgery and Medical Education. Dr Hath performs skin checks and surgical procedures in house, such as biopsy and removal of various skin cancers, lumps and bumps (please kindly book a separate appointment for these).

In his spare time, Dr Hath enjoys travelling with his wife and playing sports such as soccer and badminton.

Dr Hath firmly believes in holistic, compassionate and patient-centred care.

Dr Nisha Ajimal

Dr Nisha (Hath) is UK born and raised, receiving her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Nottingham in 2014 and subsequently graduating as a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (London, UK). During both her training and work as a fully-qualified GP, she has gained extensive clinical experience and holds the RCOG specialist Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has a particular interest in women’s health including pregnancy and contraception counselling, with a certificate from Family Planning NSW for insertion and removal of the contraceptive implant device. Dr Nisha offers work cover appointments and her other clinical interests include child health, mental health and the management of a wide variety of chronic conditions including, but not limited to, cardiovascular disease, COPD, asthma and diabetes. She has had the opportunity to work with people of all walks of life, with experience of how medicine is practiced in other parts of the globe. This has included participating in the Himalayan Health Exchange in 2014, where she and a team of doctors set up clinics to provide free of charge healthcare to the local rural population. She has a dedicated work ethic and always strives to provide a high standard of care to her patients, which is holistic, compassionate and patient-centred. In her time outside of work, Dr Nisha enjoys travelling with her husband, Dr Hath, who also works at the practice.

Dr Himanthi Balasuriya

Dr Himanthi Balasuriya graduated from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2008. She has completed her internship, residency as well as initial anaesthesia training overseas. She completed her Australian Medical Council examinations in year 2012.

She has worked as a senior resident medical officer at Liverpool Hospital in Respiratory Medicine, General Surgery, Urology, Palliative Care Medicine and Psychiatry. She has also completed her diploma in Child Health through the University of Sydney in 2017. She has worked as a career Medical Officer at Campbelltown, Camden, Bowral and Fairfield Hospital Emergency Departments for over 5 yrs.

Himanthi enjoys travelling, reading, and swimming in her free time.

Hans graduated from Monash University in 2010 after completing a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery. Hans enjoys the variety offered by general practice and has a special interest in skin cancer medicine, sexual health, HIV medicine, men’s wellness and women & child health. Hans believes in providing holistic care that values respect, confidentiality and compassion.

Hans currently holds a lecturer position at the University of Sydney in the Sexual and Reproductive Health post-graduate program and he is a certified HIVs100 prescriber for the Wollondilly and Southern Highlands area.

During his early days as a medical doctor, he undertook structured supervised training in women’s, maternal & child health across numerous major tertiary hospitals – Austin Health and Royal Women’s hospital in Melbourne and Royal Hospital for Women’s in Sydney. This led to the successful completion of nationwide recognised diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology and diploma in child health in 2015 and 2018 respectively.

Hans has had an ongoing commitment to his professional development. He has a Masters of public health and sexual and reproductive health (HIV/STIs) from the UNSW and USYD.

Hans works on Tuesday – 8am to 1pm and Friday – 8am to 1 pm.

Dr Chao is a GP Registrar with a passion for providing comprehensive and Holistic healthcare.

Completed MBBS in 2006. Following internship, she gained valuable experience working in General Medicine, ICU & Anesthesia in Sri Lanka before relocating to Australia in 2014. Dr Chao has worked as a Career Medical Officer in the Emergency Department in Campbelltown, Camden, Fairfield, Bowral & Wollongong Hospitals. She then embarked on the enriching journey of General Practice in 2021 and has worked in the Southern Highlands prior to moving to Tahmoor, currently also working as Registrar Medical Educator with RACGP part time. 

Dr Chao is competent in managing diverse emergency & general practice presentations. Special interests include Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Preventive Medicine, Immunisations, Workers Compensation, Chronic Disease Management & Mental Health.

Dr Win is a medical doctor from Burma (Myanmar). He worked as a resident medical officer at hospitals in Newcastle & Armidale area. He has achieved an excellent reputation as a GP for more than 8 years back in his home country as well as in Australia. He believes the excellent doctor-patient relationship is vital in providing exceptional health care.

He enjoys all aspects of general practice with special interests in Chronic Disease Management, Geriatric Medicine, Mental Health, Men’s Health & Paediatric Medicine. Outside of the profession, he loves spending time with his young family, reading & swimming.
